Two groundbreaking sites, driving innovation forward at Clarins
At Clarins, we're passionate about the plants that power our formulas.
To continue to lead the way in research and innovation, we own and operate two open-air laboratories and farms, known as the 'Domaines Clarins': Serraval in the French Alps, and recently acquired Sainte-Colombe in the South of France, which is planned to be fully operational in 2025.
With these two sites, Clarins continues to lead the way in pioneering sustainable beauty by tracking the traceability of raw materials, ensuring ethical and responsible sourcing, crafting the highest-quality, most effective formulas, and pursuing innovation, for a more responsible approach to beauty.

GROWING & WEEDING
Our organic* lemon balm is grown at Domaine Clarins in accordance with regenerative agriculture practices.

HARVESTING
Each leaf is hand-picked to preserve its freshness and potency.

PROCESSING
Once picked, the plant ingredients are machine-chopped, air-dried, and kept out of the sun.

AFTER DRYING
The ingredients go through an extraction process before being incorporated into our formulas.The final products are packaged at Clarins' Pontoise factory located just outside of Paris.
